Pushing the limits of 16-Bits

Chords

Pixel Pusher Games presents its debut title: Chords

A Sega CD Snatcher inspired tribute for the SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis and PC.

Growing up, I was captivated by the incredible work of Hideo Kojima, especially Snatcher on the Sega Mega CD. Its gritty cyberpunk story, striking visuals, and atmospheric soundtrack left a lasting impression on me. Sadly, we never got a sequel, and Mega Drive owners never had the chance to experience it firsthand.

That’s where Chords comes in. While it takes inspiration from Snatcher, it’s very much its own beast, set in a 90s-styled post-cyberpunk world that reflects modern-day issues, with a plot that’s as deceptive as it is gripping.

What to expect in Chords:

  • A brand-new 16-bit visual novel for Sega Mega Drive / Genesis and PC.
  • Inspired by Snatcher, plus classic Sierra and LucasArts adventures like Space Quest and Monkey Island.
  • A twisting, turning storyline with surprises at every corner.
  • 16-bit pixel art by renowned Mega Drive and Atari Lynx artist Daniel H.
  • A pulse-pounding chiptune soundtrack by the talented SuperJet Spade.
